Walt Beeson
Physical Therapist
Walt is from Columbia, Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri Columbia and the music conservatory at UMKC where he achieved his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance, Composition, and Pedagogy in 2017. He attended Johnson County Community College for prerequisite coursework and worked with student athletes on baseball, basketball, and soccer teams in the athletic training department. He graduated from Rockhurst University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2022. During his clinical rotations, he experienced a diverse patient population including inpatient cardiac and stroke rehab, concussion rehab, and post op athletes. While in school, he attended continuing education courses with IAOM-US. He is currently pursuing a certification in manual therapy.
Outside of work as a Physical Therapist, Walt regularly performs Jazz, R&B, Pop, and a variety of other styles on upright bass and bass guitar at restaurants and venues around the KC metro. Walt and his wife, Ellory adopted a Golden Retriever named Jeff. In his free time Walt enjoys hiking, board games, and disc golf.
