Morgan Coffman
Physical Therapist
Morgan grew up with four siblings in Vassar, Kansas near Pomona Lake. She played basketball at Hesston College for one year and continued with sports on the track and field team at Kansas State University where she earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Life Science and in Business Administration in 2019. Morgan then attended Northern Arizona University’s Biomedical campus in Phoenix to attain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2021. During her clinical rotations, she gained experience in acute neurological rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation with collegiate athletes, and a variety of orthopedic conditions. Morgan currently is working toward becoming certified in orthopedic manual therapy and becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
She was a multi-sport athlete growing up which led to becoming an NCAA Division I pentathlete and heptathlete at Kansas State, where she was a three-year letter winner, team captain and contributed to the 2017 and 2018 Big 12 Outdoor Conference Championship Titles.
During her collegiate career, Morgan experienced Achilles tendon issues which further developed Morgan’s interest in physical therapy and sports medicine. Morgan has a passion for traveling (she has been to 46 of the 50 states) as well as service trips to Peru and Costa Rica. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, cooking, and doing anything outdoors from hiking, biking, rock climbing, camping to water skiing and sand volleyball. She recently moved back to Kansas and would love any recommendations about favorite local KC sites.
