Juan Paz
Physical Therapist
Juan grew up in Cali, Colombia in South America playing soccer since the age of 4. He came to the United States in 2010 with a soccer scholarship to Lindenwood University. He then transferred to Missouri Baptist University and graduated with his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science in 2015. Juan then continued his education at Southwest Baptist University where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019.
Juan has enjoyed using his Spanish language with physical therapy to reach out to underserved communities. He also is passionate about treating athletes, especially primary and secondary injury prevention programs. In 2021, Juan finished his Orthopedic Residency at SLU-SSM where he was able to work with experts in athletics and participate in research studies and teaching. In his free time, Juan enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and running half and full marathons and is planning to start training for a triathlon.
