I love Empower Physical Therapy & Performance! Each and every person is knowledgable and compassionate! Julie has been my therapist for scar tissue issues since my double mastectomy. She is beyond amazing!! She explains complicated scientific terms is understandable ways. She has also helped me with heel/ankle, shoulder, and hip issues along the way. When I’ve needed a physician referral, Julie has sent me to the best doctors in KC! She sees post surgical patients so she knows who’s the best in town. I highly recommend Empower!!!!

“I received 6 sessions of Shockwave therapy over a 2 month period. Prior to receiving treatment, I had already undergone surgery, 2 rounds of physical therapy, and chiropractic care with no success. Having been told by multiple physicians that I would likely never run again, I was skeptical about the treatment. I noticed a difference in my knees after the 3rd session. It has now been 4 months since my last session, and I could not be happier with my progress. Though mild pain is still present, my knees have strengthened to where I can jog and walk with mild symptoms. I am so thankful that I can keep up with my kids again!”
