Joe Colclasure

Physical Therapist

I grew up in Roseville, Illinois and earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology from Millikin. I played college basketball at Black Hawk East Community College and Millikin University. During my college career, I experienced several injuries which first introduced me to the profession of physical therapy. I went on to graduate from Rockhurst University as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2022. During my time at Rockhurst, I became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). I served as a Strength & Conditioning coach working with Men’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball, then as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator overseeing programming for varsity sports. I was also an Athletic Trainer at Rockhurst treating athletes in the training room and covering sporting events.

In his free time, he enjoys staying active by lifting weights, golfing, playing sand volleyball, hiking, and kayaking.
